David C. Wall

David C. Wall, age 69, of Mahanoy City, passed away peacefully Wednesday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Wilkes Barre after an 8 year courageous battle with AML Leukemia..  Born in Mahanoy City he was the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Farnsworth) Wall.  He was a 1965 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the United States Air Force.  He worked for and retired from Boboli Bakery in Hazelton and was of the Protestant faith.  He was an active member of the Frackville American Legion.  Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were five brothers William, Thomas "Yock", George, Robert and Daniel and four sisters Elizabeth "Bette" Reed, Evelyn Bitting, Hilda Ashfield and Jeanne Zimmerman.  Survivors include his beloved furry friend "Chief", 3 daughters Deborah Wall and her companion Joseph Gulden of Barnesville, Lisa Luna and her husband Carlos of Florida, and Stacie Folk and her husband David of Delano, a sister Mary Smith of Mahanoy City and 2 brothers Jack Wall of Hawaii and Donald Wall of Frackville, a cousin Judy Reed and grandsons Matthew and Mark Aggers, Bradley Peterson and Ryan, Justin and Blake Folk as well as many nieces and nephews. Services will be privately held at Sky View Memorial Park in Hometown.  David D.
