Elizabeth C. Drosey

Elizabeth C. "Betty" Drosey, age 94, of Mahanoy City, died Tuesday night at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East Norwegian Street in Pottsville. Born in Mahanoy City she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Durko) Kufrovich. She attended area schools and worked as a housewife. She was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City and enjoyed playing BINGO. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were hers husband Louis J. Drosey in 2011 and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by 2 daughters Chris Trusky and her husband John of Frackville and Kathy Fegley and her husband Joseph of Ringtown, 2 sisters Dolly Engleberger of Mahanoy City and Theresa Angelotti of Hershey, 2 grandsons Shane McCoog and John Jeremy Trusky as well as nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM from Saint Teresa of Calcutta Church. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning beginning at 9:30 AM. David D.
