Margaret M. Kaufman

Margaret M. "Maggie" Kaufman,age 76, of Barnesville, died Sunday night at St. Luke's Hospital Miners Campus in Coaldale. Born in Jackson's Patch she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Veronica (McCloskey) Britton. She was a 1960 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and had been employed as a custodian for Mahanoy Area School District and currently worked for Lakeside Park Beverage in Barnesville. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, brothers John, Joseph, Daniel and Paul Britton and sisters Julia Linkchorst, Mary Boes Jean Zimmerman and Elizabeth Britton. Survivors include two sons William of Coaldale and Thomas of Barnesville which whom she resided and a daughter Theresa Fletcher and he companion Leonard Moore also of Barnesville, two grandchildren Cody and Sabrina Moore, nieces and nephews and her dog Mayhem. Relatives and friends are invite to call and visit with the family on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City. Interment will be privately held in St. Canicus Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.
