Robert R. "Bob" Hasara, age 63, of Morea, died unexpectedly Monday at his home where he resided with the love of his life Rita Bartashus. Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital, he was the son of the late Raymond and Anna (Fritz) Hasara. He was a 1972 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and also graduated for Vo-Tech in carpentry and worked as a carpenter. He was of the Catholic faith and was a faithful blood donor to the American Red Cross. His hobbies included listening to Polkas, sudoku, crocheting, couponing, cooking, cutting wood and nurturing house plants. Everybody knew Bob for his beautiful blue eyes and crazy noises. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a granddaughter Kayla. Surviving in addition to Rita are a daughter Kimberly Tashler, a son Jason Hymes, a sister Linda Hall and her husband Robert , 4 grandchildren Bryce, Gavin, Giana and Arianny. Private religious and graveside services will be held at Sky View Memorial Park in Hometown. There will not be any calling hours.
