Adele "Marianne" Burke, age 92, formerly of Mahanoy City, died Wednesday night at Providence Place in Pottsville where she has resided the past 2 years.  Born in Mahanoy City she was the daughter of the late John & May (Matalavage) Bleyzgis. She was a 1940 graduate of Mahanoy City High School and last worked for and retired from the cafeteria at Mahanoy Area School District.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bill in 2005, to whom she was married 62 years, brothers Alfred, Clement and Edward and sister Nellie Yanaitis and Aldona Setcavage.  Survivors include 3 daughters Arlene and her husband Henry Mongrain of Orwigsburg, Kathy and her husband John Lesko Sr. of West Chester and Mary Lou and her husband William Neverosky of Barnesville, grandchildren Noel Mongrain, Allison Pearce, Mark Mongrain, John Lesko Jr., Sarah Hudock and Abby Neverosky, 11 great grandchildren, a sister in law Amy Bleyzgis and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Monday morning at 10:30 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Whalen at 11 AM from St. Richard's Church in Barnesville.  Interment will follow in St. Fidelis Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.
