Alberta T. Budwash, of Mahanoy City, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022 at home with her family by her side. Born in Shenandoah she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Huddock) Kronkowsky and was a graduate of J.W. Cooper High School. She was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City. She worked at the local garment factories and as a waitress before marrying the love her life. She was a home maker raising her children. She enjoyed playing Bingo, puzzles, planting flowers in her yard and watching her favorite soap opera on TV. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Julius A. Budwash who passed in 2005, a brother Charles Kronkowsky, sisters Rosemary Dower, Jeanie Kronkowsky, a grandson Daniel Norris and a granddaughter Jacci Lee Norris. She is survived by a son Michael Budwash of Mahanoy City, a daughter Ann Marie Joseph of Wilkes Barre, a brother William Kronkowsky of Virginia, sisters Antoinette Grutza, Mary Ann Aggon of Shenandoah, Christine Kalinowski of Frackville, grandson Jason Norris and his wife Dina, great grandsons James Norris, Chase Norris and a great granddaughter Isabella Norris all of Lebanon, PA a brother in law John Budwash and his wife Charlotte of Frackville along with many nieces and nephews. She will be buried privately with her husband at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City is in charge of arrangements.
