Alfred L. Skelson

Mr. Alfred L. "Al" Skelson, age 88, of Barnesville, died May 16, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. Born in the Bronx NY he was the son of the late Lawrence & Mildred (Hindley) Skelson. He was a 1950 graduate of Morris High School in the Bronx and was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He had worked for and retired from the former Atlas Powder Company and was a member of the Ryan Township Fire Company. He was a avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. He is survived by his wife of 53 years the former Patricia Kringe. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held Friday morning at 11 AM at the White Church Cemetery in Rush Township. The Rev. Robert Adams will officiate. David D.
