Alice E. (Seddon) Berger, age 65, of Grier City, died Thursday evening at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem.  Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital she was the daughter of the late Warren C. & Bernice (Kern) Seddon Sr..  She was a 1969 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and worked in various local industries having recently retired from Hershey Foods in Hazleton.  She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Mahanoy City.  Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her daughter Cari Pogwist and a brother Warren C. "Ditty" Seddon Jr..  She is survived be her husband Anthony M. Shimukonas, a brother Scott Seddon and his wife Ione of Gilberton, a sister Judy Stevens and her husband Joe of Coles, a sister in law Sue Seddon of Locust Valley, 2 grandchildren Ali Rose and Alex Pogwist, step children, great step children  and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Rite Of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Fred T. Crawford on Saturday at 10:30 AM from Christ Lutheran Church in Mahanoy City.  Interment will follow in Sky View Memorial Park in Hometown. Friends may call at David D.
