Ann M. Brinsko, age 84, formerly of Morea, died Thursday night at her home in Pottsville surrounded by her loving family  Born in the village of Robinson's, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Sarah (Bernsteil) Wahalec.  She lived in the village of Coles and was a graduate of Mahanoy  Township Class of 1949 where she was head majorette.  She was employed by Pennsylvania National Bank in Mahanoy City and then in Pottsville. She worked in Reading at CTCE Federal Credit Union as Manager Administration until retirement and was also a notary public. She was in Who's Who of American Business  Women 13th Edition 1983-1984. She attended Penn State University in Schuylkill Haven and at State College, the University of Wisconsin, Shippensburg University, Dickenson College and also Lebanon Valley College. She was a 51 year member of Puritan Chapter #126 Order of the Easter Star in Mahanoy City and was Worthy Matron 5 times and was also a district deputy. She was past president of Mahanoy City Past Matrons, Past President of Schuylkill Valley Past Matrons and member of District 23 Past District Deputy's and held various other appointments. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville and was a former lector and member of the prayer circle.
She is survived by her husband Robert to whom she would have been married 65 years on FEB 9, 2017, a daughter Cheryl Killian RN and her husband Jack with whom she resided, aunts, uncles and cousins.  
Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers contributions in Ann's name to  Compassus Hospice, 1001 James Drive Suite B-34, Leesport, PA  19533 or Hillside S.P.C.A., , S. P. C. A.
