Anna Everett, age 97, formerly of Mahanoy City, died Sunday afternoon at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall.  Born in Mahanoy City she was the daughter of the late John & Eva (Judeni) Kaminsky.
She attended Mahanoy City schools and had been employed with and retired from City Shirt.  She was a member of St. Paul's UCC of Mahanoy City and the Order of Eastern Star.  She resided most of her life in Mahanoy City and relocated to Florida after retirement.   Preceding her in death were her husband John "Jack" Everett and brothers and sisters Aldona, Helen, William "Bill", Stanley, Constance "Connie" and Mary.  Survivors include nieces and nephews Virginia Ashman and her life partner Nick Meter, William Nuss and his wife Joyce, Anthony Valkosak and his wife Suzanne, Sonja Buleza and her husband John and Bruce Everett and his wife Debbie  also great nieces and nephews.   Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Saturday morning at 11 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City with the Rev. Dr. John H. Reid officiating.  Interment will follow at the German Protestant Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning beginning at 10AM  In lieu of flowers contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 3544 N.
