Anthony J. Brutto Obituary
Mr. Anthony J. "Tony" Brutto, age 84, formerly of Mahanoy City and Shenandoah and currently a resident of Shenandoah Manor died Thursday night at Schuylkill Medical Center South Jackson St., Pottsville. Born in Shenandoah he was the son of the late Angelo and Sarah (Colosimo) Brutto. He was a graduate of JW Cooper High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He had been employed with and retired from Forbo Industries in Hazleton. He was a member of St. Richard's Church in Barnesville and BPOE 1533 Frackville. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor in January and 2 brothers Bernard and Frank. Survivors include a son Paul and his wife Victoria of Barnesville and a daughter Barbara Hoffman and her husband Darrell of Ringtown, 2 grandsons Kristopher Hoffman and his wife Allison, PJ Brutto and his girlfriend Brittany Heine, a granddaughter Pamela Brutto and a great granddaughter Allison Brutto, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by Rev. Joseph Whalen on Monday morning at 10:30 AM in St. Richard's Church in Barnesville. Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park in Hometown. There will not be any calling hours.
