Anthony Domday Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Martin Domday, 67, of Barnesville, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest after fighting serious illness.

Tony was born in Reading, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late Anthony F. Domday (husband to LizBeth Domday) and late Mary A. Dubetsky (wife of late Lawrence J. Dubetsky).  Tony is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Cynthia "Cindy" A. Domday, children Allison M. Freeman, Esq. (wife of Jason R. Freeman, Greencastle), Anthony E. Domday, D.V.M., R.N. (Barnesville), Anna R. Brode, PA-C (wife of Brian Brode, Barnesville), grandchildren Madison, Elliott, Parker, Owen, Cooper, step grandchildren Gabriella and Hailey, and several grand-dogs.  He is also survived by his sister Diane M. Downey (fiancee of Nicholas Salata, Schuylkill Haven), father in law Eugene S. Courson (widower of Regina H. Courson, Barnesville), sister-in-law Martha L. Cutter (partner of Richard Keggereis, Annandale VA), four nephews, numerous beloved cousins, two god-children, and many friends. Tony's early childhood love of dogs and birds evolved into a fierce passion for agriculture.  He graduated from Tamaqua High School in 1973. He worked as a crane operator and maintenance mechanic at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (Trexlertown), for 42 years.  He and his family farmed over 300 acres and raised beef cattle with the help of Tony's friends and neighbors, the Hayes Family, especially Michael Hayes.  Tony did little besides farm, yet enjoyed reading the Lancaster Farming, going to auctions, and spending time with his grandchildren.
