Barbara J. Kohlmeir, age 71, of Mary D, passed away unexpectedly Saturday night at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital in Coaldale.  Born in Locust Valley she was the daughter of the late Albert and Elva (Adams) Evans.  She graduated from Mahanoy City High School, was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.   Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were he husband Charles in 2011 a brother Albert and an infant brother Charles.  Survivors include a daughter Cindy Gontz and her husband James of Locust Valley, a son Kevin and his wife Jennifer of Quakake, a sister Ruth Eckrode and her husband George of Locust Valley, 2 granddaughters Courtney Long and Emily Kohlmeir, a great grandchild Jensen Long and nieces and nephews.  Services will be private.  There will not be any calling hours.  David D.
