Bernard "Beba" Filiziani, age 93, of Mahanoy City, died Monday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center East in Pottsville.  Born in Morea he was the son of the late Dominic "John" and Lucy Desidere Filiziani.  He was a graduate of Mahanoy Township High School and served with the United States Army. He had been employed with and retired from the Mahanoy City Lumber Company.  Preceding him in death in addition to her parents were his wife Helen A. "Lil" Filiziani, 2 brothers Dominic and Louis Filiziani and a sister Jenny Andrews. Survivors include 2 daughters Gloria Runkles and her husband Norman of Haymarket VA, Helene Ware and her husband Edward of Nicholson, 2 grandchildren Amy & Matthew Ware, step grandchildren Edward Ware Jr., Dana Edwards, Norman Runkles Jr., and Kenneth Runkles, step great grandchildren Molly, Brianna and Kenna Leigh Runkles, Beau, Carson and Samuel Ware and Addison and Benjamin Edwards, many neices and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher on Saturday morning at 10 AM from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.  Friends may call and visit with the family  at the church beginning at 9 AM.  Contributions to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated and will be accepted at the visitation.  David D.
