Betty J. Weikel, age 81, of Mahanoy City and formerly of Ringtown, died Friday evening at Schuylkill Medical Center East, Pottsville.  Born in Ringtown she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Stella (Stauffer) Boxer.  She attended Ringtown schools and had been employed for 27 years at Yankee Plastics.  She was of the Lutheran faith.  Preceding her in death were her husband Wallace Weikel  and a brother Anthony Boxer. Survivors include 1 daughter Barbara Suda and her husband Eugene of Barnesville, a brother Jerome Stauffer of Ringtown, a sister Julia Boxer of Mahanoy City, a grandson Eugene Suda Jr. and his wife Kim of Pine Grove, a granddaughter Karen Ali and her husband Emad of Brooklyn NY.  Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Wednesday morning at 11 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City.  The Rev. Fred T. Crawford will officiate.  Interment will be in the White Church cemetery in Ringtown.
