Christine M. "Chris" Wilinsky, age 58, formerly of Mahanoy City, passed away June 7, 2025 after a brief illness at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville FL where she had resided the past several years .  Born in Pottsvile she was the daughter of Patricia Wilinisky of Mahanoy City and the late Thomas Wilinsky.  She was  1985 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, and received her BS in Political Science from Kutztown University in 1990. Residing in California for 22 years she earned her paralegal from the  University of San Diego in 2004 and she attended the Taft School of Law in Santa Ana in 2006. She worked as a web developer and also in legal document preparation.  She was an avid reader of book programming technology, was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed biking. Surviving in addition to her mother are her sister Laura McKenzie and her husband Joshua Lech of Barnesville and a brother Timothy Wilinsky and his wife Stacey of Fountain Springs. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Charissa and her husband Matthew Alleman, Evan, Kody and Justine McKenzie and Jude Wilinsky as well as aunts and uncles and her feline fur baby's Shelby Noel and Milo.Services will be private.  For those wishing to express their sympathy are encouraged to plant a tree in her memory and can be so by visiting www.jarrettfuneralhome.com
