Clyde L. Renninger Obituary
Mr. Clyde L. Renninger, age 83, of Branchdale, died Saturday night at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. Born in Newtown he was the son of the late Norman & Catherine (Fiedt) Renninger. He attended Reilly Township School and was a United States Army Veteran. He had been emlpoyed in his family coal business, also worked for Drew Development, Cadillac Cable and last worked for and retired from Hershey Chocolate. He was a life member of the Citizens Fire Company in Branchdale. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his wife Margaret J. "Midge" Renninger in February of this year, 2 infant children Margaret Marie and Clyde Leroy, 3 brothers Norman, Clair (Skip), and Ralph Henry, 3 sisters Martha Neidlinger, Mary Bonchalk and Miriam Thompson. Survivors include 2 daughters Debbie Swartz and her husband Robert of Frackville, Kathi Heberling and her companion Mike Krammes of Pine Grove, a sister Thelma Renninger and her companion Jim Fink of Newtown, 3 grandchildren Joshua Heberling and his companion Miranda Weidman, Amber Jo Heberling and her fiance' Neil Bressler, Kimberly Swartz and neices and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Friday morning at 8:30 AM from Mahal Ritzel Funeral Home of Minersville. The Rev. Christel Schaeffer will officiate. Interment with military honors will be at 10:30 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM and again on Friday beginning at 7:30 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions in Clyde's name to the Citizens Fire Company or St. Johns Church of Newtown would be appreciated by the family and will be accepted at the visitation. David D.
