Colin M. Hasara Obituary
Colin M. Hasara, 38, of Mahanoy City, died Saturday at his home. Born in Pottsville he was the son of Bernard J. Hasara of Mahanoy City and the late Linda Weber Hasara who passed away in 2012. Colin attended Mahanoy Area High School and was of the catholic faith. As a youth he played for the Mahanoy City Little League and excelled as a pitcher. He had worked with his dad as a rock blaster for residential construction. Colin obtained a PA blasters license, commercial drivers license with Haz-Mat endorsement and ATF permit to handle and detonate explosives. He was currently employed with Northeast Prestressed Products in Cressona. Surviving in addition to his dad are his wife the former Melissa Sendatch and his two children that he was so proud of Colin Hasara Jr. and Carley Hasara, four brothers Sean and his wife Nancy of Beech Mountain, Brendon and Ryan both of Mahanoy City and Christoper of Maryland, 1 aunt, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Whalen on Friday June 8 at 10:30 AM from St. Richard's Church in Barnesville. Interment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery in Mahanoy Township. Friends may call at the church beginning at 9:30 AM. David D.
