Elizabeth M. Gresh

Elizabeth M. Gresh, age 95, of Mahanoy City, died Wednesday afternoon at HCR ManorCare in Pottsville. Born in Mahanoy City she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Bush) Wargo. She attended Mahanoy City schools and worked as a housewife caring for her family. She was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Stanley, brothers Andrew and John and sisters Lucy and Anna. Survivors include her children Stanley and his wife Susan, Michael and his wife Mona, Beth and her husband Mark, Angela and her partner Frank and Thomas and his fiancee Shelly, a brother Joseph and grandchildren Amy and her husband Arthur, Megan and Melissa and great grandchildren Haylie, Hanna, Lily, Sam, Naomi, Olivia and nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher on Wednesday morning at 11 AM form St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City. Interment will follow in St. Casimir's Cemetery in Mahanoy Township. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 10 AM until time of Mass. All attending are requested to wear their mask.
