Elizabeth T. Roos Obituary

Elizabeth T. Roos, age 89 of Hatfield and a former Mahanoy City resident, died Thursday morning at St. Mary's Manor in Lansdale.  Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mae (Cauffman) Sabol.  She attended St. Mary's  (Assumption BVM) grade school in Mahanoy City and was a member of St. Stanislaus Church in Lansdale.  She worked as an assembler for Brooks Instruments in Hatfield where she had resided for  53 years.   Preceding her in death were sisters Dorothy Levy, Irene Brown and brothers Joseph, Michael and John. Survivors include her husband of 70 years Joseph J. Roos, a resident of St. Mary's Manor, a son Joseph J. Roos Jr. and his wife Linda of Hatfield, 2 daughters Immaculata Barndt and her husband Dale of Red Hill and Denise Reilly and her husband William of Telford,  a sister Helen Capiga of Mahanoy City and 2 bothers Andrew of Allentown and Edward of Locust Valley,
six grandchildren Michele, Joann, Scott, Joe III, Bob and BJ and 7 great grandchildren Sara, Shana, Christopher, Melissa, Joey IV, Ryan and Colin and nieces and nephews.  
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11 AM from  the Chapel of St. Mary's Manor, 701 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA  19446.  Interment will be at 2 PM at Sky View Memorial Park  in Hometown.
Friends may call at the chapel on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of Mass.  In lieu of flowers contributions in Elizabeth's name to St. Mary's Manor would be appreciated by the family.  David D.
