Eva M. Mizzer

Eva M. Mizzer, age 90, of Mahanoy City, passed away Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter. Born in Girardville, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Mary (Yashin) Petrousky. She was a graduate of Girardville High School Class of 1948. She was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City and was a life member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She worked for the former Ashland Hospital in the reveune office and later for the Mahanoy Area School District. She and her husband also owned and operated the former Towne Cleaners in Mahanoy City. She was preceded in death by her husband John in 2007. Survivors include a son John and his wife Dione of Newark DE, a daughter Mary Anne Rajkowski and her husband PJ of Mahanoy City and granddaughters Marci and Maria Rajkowski.
