Frank J. Gaval Obituary
Mr. Frank J. Gaval, age 91, of the village of Trenton, died Tuesday evening at Shenandoah Senior Living. Born in Trenton he was the son of the late John and Mary (Bozentko) Gaval. He attended Delano schools and was an Army Veteran of World II. He worked as a loader operator in local strip mining operations. He was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his wife Pauline Schott Gaval in 2009, brothers Walter, Henry, Edward, Joseph, Leon, Frank and John and 2 sisters Helen Schott and Anna Dulsky. The last member of his immediate family he is survived by 2 sons Frank and his wife Barbara of Sugarloaf and Jeff at home also nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher on Monday morning at 10 AM from. Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church. Interment with military honors will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery in Mahanoy Township. Friends may call at the church on Monday beginning at 9 AM. There will not be any calling hour on Sunday or at the funeral home. David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City is in charge of arrangements.
