Mr. Frank M. Souchak Jr. age 87, of Trenton village, died Sunday at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem.  Born in Trenton he was the son of the late Frank M. & Victoria Souchak Sr.  He was a graduate of Delano High School and owned and operated along with his wife the Delano Gas Company.  He also operated the concession at Tuscarora State Park and was noted for his delicious potatoe pancakes at the Hometown Farmers. Market. His passion however was auto racing.  He ran his B58 at  area dirt tracks including the Reading Fairgrounds, Nazareth, Syracuse NY and Evergreen Raceway in Drums where he assisted with management of the track for a few years. In addition to racing he also enjoyed riding his four wheeler. He was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Mahanoy City and  BPOE 695.  Preceding him in death were his wife the former Dorothy Pryga, a son Daniel and 2 sisters Josephine Bulcavage and Ann  Marie Schaar.  Survivors include 2 daughters Sandra Majetsky and her husband Allen of Trenton, Dorothy Datchko of Delano,a daughter in law Cheryl Souchak of Trenton. 4 grandchildren Justine Datchko, Rachel Majetsky and her companion Jason Schreiber, Nicole Smith and Jacob Souchak, 3 great grandchildren Gavyn Datchko, Christopher Kondash and Levi Smith, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. James Carroll on Wednesday morning at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in the parish cemetery in Mahanoy Township.  Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning beginning at 9 AM.   Contributions in Frank's name to St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family and will be accepted at the visitation.
