Geraldine R. "Gerry" Zelasny, age 90, of Mahanoy City, died Friday at her home. Born in Mahanoy City, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Kelly) Fogarty. She attended area schools and was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City. She along with her husband owned and operated Cotton's Tavern formerly in Mahanoy City. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank and a son Michael as well as several brothers and sisters. She is survived by two daughters Diane Gallagher and her husband Kenneth of Mahanoy City, Karen Uhrie of Gilberton and a son Frank of Allentown, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM from St. Teresa of Calcutta Church.
