Mr. H. James "Jim" McLaren Sr., age 86, of Frackville, died Wednesday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center South in Pottsville.  Born in Butler Twp. he was the son of the late Dartnell C. & Helen Kershner McLaren.  He was a 1946 graduate of Frackville High School.  He had been employed with Service Electric Cable Television retiring in 1995 after 41 years of service.  He was a member of St. Peter's UCC, BPOE 1533, and F.A. & M 737 where he served as Worshipful Master in 1973 all of Frackville.  Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his wife Arlene in 2011 and a sister Ann Hall. Survivors include his son H. James McLaren  Jr. and his wife Linda of Mahanoy City, daughters Elaine Fucci and her husband Paul of Gordon and Kimberly Schaude and her husband James of Lehighton, a brother Charles McLaren and his wife Barbara of Levittown and a sister Ellen McLaren of Pottsville, grandchildren Christa Zimmerman, Jennifer Dacus, Chelsea Bruno, Emily and Mary Schaude, Ryan, Ian & Evan Fucci, great grandchildren Sean & Savannah Dacus, Andrew Zimmerman and Natalie Bruno, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Saturday morning at 11 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City with the Rev.
