Helen Belovesick, age 87, of the village of Trenton, died Monday at Shenandoah Senior Living Community where she has resided the past three years.  Born in Trenton she was the daughter of the late Michael and Teckla (Hrysanich) Lazer.  Helen attended local schools and had been employed by General Cigar Factory and last worked for and retired from City Shirt Factory.  She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Mahanoy City. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband John M. Belovesick, 5 sisters Mary, Julia, Dorothy, Anna and Eva who died at birth and 6 brothers Joseph, John, Steve, Michael, Nicholas and Theodore.  The last member of her immediate family she is survived by a son John and his wife Carol of Trescow, a daughter Rosemarie Scherr and her husband Jack of Weston, a granddaughter Jill Scherr and nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. James Carroll on Friday morning at 11 AM from St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery in Mahanoy Township.  Friends may call at the church on Friday morning beginning at 9:30 AM. There will not be any calling hours on Thursday evening or at the funeral home.  Contributions in Helen's name to St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church would be appreciated and will be accepted at the visitation.  David D.
