Jennifer Lynn Ward, age 36, of Mahanoy City, died peacefully Friday morning at her parents home after a courageous battle with brain cancer.  Born in Hazleton she is the daughter of Thomas W. and Faith  Ward Jr. of Bowans.  She was a 1998 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and also attended Penn State University.  Jennifer was a stay at home mom and was of the Protestant faith.  Surviving in addition to her parents are her fiance' Warren C. Seddon III and their daughters Jilyan and Jianna Seddon, a brother Thomas W. Ward III and his wife Megan of Grier City, paternal grandparents Thomas W. & Dorothy Ward Sr. of Lakeview, maternal grandmother Jane Volosky of Mahanoy City, and Warren's parents Warren C. & Susan Seddon Jr. of Locust Valley and aunts and uncles.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday morning at 10 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City.  The Rev. Robert Adams will officiate.  Friends may call and visit with the family on Friday evening from 6 until 8:30 PM and again on Saturday morning beginning at 9 AM.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be directed to Jilyan and Jianna Seddon.  Jennifers favorite color was blue, and she so loved the ocean, those that will be attending are respectfully requested to wear something blue.
