Mr. John A. Andricks, age 89, of Girardville, died Monday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center South.  Born in Mahanoy City he was the son of the late John & Anna (Wilkitis) Andruscavage.  He was a 1947 graduate of Mahanoy City High School and was a United States Navy veteran.  He worked for and retired from State of Pennsylvania Liquor Store after 40 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing, watching NFL football, and was most generous to any charity that came his way.  He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Helen Gallarte, Valerie Tarantino, and 2 brothers Edward Andruscavage and Bernard Andricks. Survivors incude a sister Anne Puglia of Shenandoah, 2 nieces Anne Louise Andricks of Shenandoah and Joanne Smith and her husband Richard of Allentown, 2 great nieces Madison Smith and Krystal Andricks  and a great great niece Ryan Andricks.  Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Thursday morning at 10:30 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral home of Mahanoy City.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church of Mahanoy City. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.
