John T. Segilia, age 87, of Plymouth, MA, formerly of Barnesville, PA passed away peacefully in his home  Tuesday, February 21, 2012.  Born in Lofty, McAdoo, PA on March 14, 1924 he was the beloved husband of Esther (Leisey) Segilia for 65 years.   Devoted father of Diane Lazer and her husband Ken Lazer also of Plymouth, MA.   Loving grandfather of Ken Lazer, Jr. and his wife Nicole, and two great-granddaughters Sienna and Campbell Lazer of Kingston, MA.  Dear brother of sister Gloria Scaramucci and her husband Francis of Hewitt, TX. And many nieces and nephews.   He was the son of the late Joseph and Elsie (Hoffman) Segilia and brother to the late Edward, James, Harry, and Frederick.  He was also preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter Deneen Lazer.
John worked for the former Reading Railroad for 40 years before retiring in 1984.  He was a veteran of the Army Air Force during WWll.  
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10:30AM at St. Richard’s Church, Barnesville, PA.  Interment  at Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown, PA.
