Mr. John G. Sivak, age 79, of Mahanoy City, died Saturday afternoon at Broad Mountain Nursing & Rehabilitation of Frackville.  Born in Mahanoy City he was the son of the late Michael & Barbara Peregrin Sivak.  He attended area schools and was an Army veteran.   He was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church of Mahanoy City.  He had been employed by Maff's London Shop and Romack Construction both formerly in Mahanoy City.  Preceding him in death were a son Thomas Kromer, brother Michael and two sisters Dorothy and Barbara.  Survivors include his children Tracy Kuchinsky and her husband David of Mahanoy City, Barbara Kromer of Shenandoah, John Kromer of Mahanoy City and Dennis Tempest and his wife Holly of Frackville, 2 brothers George and Jude Sivak of Mahanoy City, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  David D.
