Joseph G. Klinger Sr.

Joseph G. "Pudge" Klinger Sr., age 66, of Frackville, died Friday night at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. Born at the former Ashland State Hospital he was the son of Loretta (Fishburn) Sabol of Frackville and the late Byrd Klinger. He was a member of the Gilberton Methodist Church and the Frackville American Legion. Survivors include 3 daughters Amie Klinger of Altoona, Anita Meixner and her husband Robert of Scranton, Dorettah Clark of Barnesville and a son Joseph Jr. of Shenandoah. He is also survived by 5 sisters, 1 brother, 7 grandchildren and 13 nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call and meet with the family on Wednesday from 1 to 3 PM at David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City. Interment will be private. Contributions in his name to the Frackville American Legion would be appreciated by the family and will be accepted at the visitation.
