Josephine A. Marcavage, age 76, of Mahanoy City passed away Monday afternoon at her home.  Born in Park Crest she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Julia (Demshock) Sluzalis.  She was a 1954 graduate of Mahanoy City High School and worked for Kaier's Brewery, Eagle Brothers Shirt Factory and last as manager of JoAnn Fabrics at Schuylkill Mall.  She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City.  Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were a son Mark, a sister Dolores   and an infant brother Richard.  Survivors include her husband of 55 years Vincent, 2 daughters Donna Petri and her husband Michael of Mahanoy City, Patti Yostrum and her husband James of Texas, a brother Joseph of King of Prussia,  7 grandchildren Laura Muldoon, Megan Ferrari, Michael and Michelle Petri, James, Rachel and David Yostrum,  3 great grandchildren, Gavin and Grady Muldoon and Aiden Ferrari, nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher on Saturday morning at 11 AM in Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church. Interment will be in Our Lady of Siluva Cemetery in Frackville.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until time of Mass.  Contributions in Josephine's name to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church would be appreciated.  David D.
