Karen I Sweet

Karen I. Sweet, age 73, of Delano, died Thursday morning at her home.  Born in W. Mahanoy Township she was the daughter of the late Albert & Dorothy (Bankes) Hinks.  She had been employed with Reggio Fashions Factory and was a member of Faith UCC of Delano.  She is survived by her husband Silas, daughters Karen Ann Long, Debbie Botham, Jessica Vogel, Dana Sweet, a son Silas Sweet Jr., sisters Georgeine Goldman and Elizabeth Koch grandchildren Joshua Walther, Jennifer Goodman, Bonnie Savakinas, Cassandra Lutjen, Samantha Botham, Morgan Sweet , Melanie Rose Valentin, Jayden, Corrinne and Sebastian Vogel, 7 great grandchildren, 2 aunts June Meade and Eileen Van Lanen, nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Tuesday morning at 11 AM at the German Protestant Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.  The Rev.
