Leonard W. "Lenny" Peters, age 55, of 139 E. Mahanoy Ave., Mahanoy City, died Friday morning at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem.  Born in Milwaukee Wisconsin he was the son of Marion Peters and the late Jerry Peters.  He graduate Union Grove High School in Union Grove Wisconsin and also studied at Colorado Tech University. He served with the US Army.
Lenny enjoyed music and was a life long Green Bay Packers Fan.
He was employed with Air Products and Chemical Company in Hometown.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years the former Cheryl Yanick, a son John of Mahanoy City a daughter Stephanie of Coaldale, 2 sisters Cynthia Chase and her husband Thomas and Phyllis Acker and her husband Kenneth all of Racine Wisconsin, 4 grandchildren Serena, Skye, Adeline and Alex and nieces and nephews.
