Madelyn H. Goodis RN age 90, a resident of Shenandoah Senior Living Community and formerly of Mahanoy City, died Wednesday afternoon at Schuylkill Medical Center East in Pottsville.  Born in Mahanoy City she was the daughter of the late Thomas & Helen A. (Waba) Goodis.  She was a graduate of Mahanoy City High School and worked most of her nursing career at the former Ashland State Hospital.  Survivors include a niece Cathy Lagerman, a nephew Ernest Goodis, cousins Carol Connor and Florence Kaminsky, a sister in law Kay Goodis and great nieces and nephews.   A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date.
