Marion J. Flamini RN, age 88, of Mahanoy City, died Saturday morning at Golden Living Center in Pottsville.  Born in and a life long resident of Mahanoy City, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Maff) Flamini. Marion was a 1941 graduate of Mahanoy City High School and also a graduate of the Ashland State Hospital School of Nursing.  She also attended Wilkes College and Boston University.  She worked in the nursing field for 38 years last as an instructor at the nursing school in Ashland Hospital.  She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City, a volunteer nurse for the American Red Cross Bloodmobiles, The Mahanoy City Visiting Nurses Association and the Catholic Nurses Guild.  Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were 2 brother Frank and Anthony and a niece Lisa Flamini.  Survivors include 2 brothers Joseph Flamini and his wife Rose of Mahanoy City and Henry Flamini and his wife Rosemary of Steelton, a sister in law Catherine Flamini of W. Penn Twp. 4 nieces and nephews Thomas, Michael, Frank and Ellie Flamini.  Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher on Thursday morning at 11 AM in Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church.  Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.  Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 AM until time of Mass.  Contributions in Marion's name the the Mahanoy City Visiting Nurse Association would be appreciated.  David D.
