Mary L. Jarrett, age 91, of Mahanoy City, died peacefully Tuesday morning at Broad Mountain Nursing & Rehabilitation of Frackville.  Born in Morea she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Domenica   (Cozza)  DeAngelo.
   She was a graduate of Mahanoy Township High School and worked briefly for Russell William's Shirt Factory however was a homemaker most of her life.  Preceding her in death were her husband Donald E. Jarrett on August 29, 2008, sisters Rose Hasara, Margaret Ambrose, and Caroline Irvin, brothers Carlo "Chubbins" , James, and Joseph De Angelo and Dominic "Corky" Mercuri.  Survivors include one son David D. Jarrett and his wife Mary Ann, a sister Theresa Swartz and her husband Robert of Morea, a grandson Matthew D. Jarrett and his companion Michelle of Mahanoy City, a granddaughter Rebecca Dillman and her husband Damon of Charlottesville Virginia and a great granddaughter Kaitlain Elizabeth Jarrett, brothers in law John Ambrosia of Mahanoy City, Glenn Jarrett of Warminster and Frank Reed of Allentown, nieces and nephews and her extended family, her caregivers at Broad Mountain who provided her with excellent care and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher at 11 AM at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City.  Interment will follow in the White Church Cemetery in Rush Township.  Friends may call at the funeral home of Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM and again on Saturday beginning at 9:30 AM until time of service.  Contributions in Mary's name to Trinity Academy or Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation (Memo ; Activity Fund) would be appreciated.  Please visit www.jarrettfuneralhome.com for more information.
