Mary Kechula, age 98, of Buck Mountain, died Friday morning at Lehigh Valley Schuylkill in Pottsville.  Born in the village of Trenton she was the daughter of the late Paul & Eva Barna.  She attended area schools and had been employed by Speed Space Modular Home Manufacturers. She was a member of the former St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church in Mahanoy City  and currently a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Mahanoy City.  Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Stephen, a son Steve and several brothers and sisters.  Survivors include a daughter Rosellen Yutko, a son Paul Kechula all of Buck Mountain, 2 sisters Julia Karas of Frackville and Victoria Whitecavage of New Hampshire, 8 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. James Carroll on Tuesday morning at 11 AM from St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Cemetery in Mahanoy Township. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning beginning at 9:30 AM.  Mass request in Mary's name would be appreciated by the family and will be accepted at the visitation.  David D.
