Obituary

Patricia A. "Pat" Skelson, age 83, of Barnesville, passed away Wednesday night May 25, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem.  Born in Hazleton she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Semuta) Kringe.  She was a 1956 graduate of Hazleton High School and had been employed by Guinans Department Store and Mahanoy Valley Door and Supply both formerly in Mahanoy City.  She was a member of St. Richard's Church in Barnesville.  She was preceded in death by her husband Al in May of 2021.  She is survived by cousins and many good friends.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Robert Finlan on Thursday June 9, 2022 at 11 AM from St. Richard's Church in Barnesville.  Interment will follow in the White Church Cemetery in Rush Township.  In lieu of flowers contributions in Pat's name to Annunciation Monastery, 403 W.
