Mr. Raymond L. Seward, age 71, of Barnesville, died Tuesday morning at The Manor at St. Luke Village in Hazleton.  Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital he was the son of the late Joseph & Martha (Gill) Seward.  He was a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and was an Air Force Veteran.  He had been employed with Mack Trucks and last worked and retired from the security field.  Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a brother Robert.  Survivors include his wife the former Jeanette Schaeffer, a daughter Jessica  Svetz and her husband  Greg of Lehighton, a brother Albert and his wife Joann of Barnesville and the light of his life his 2 grandsons Riley and Alexander as well as nieces and nephews. Private services will be held and the convenience of the family.  David D.
