Regina H. "Gina" Courson, age 87, of Locust Lake Road in Locust Valley, died Monday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. Born in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Constance (Yaworski) Helenski. She was a 1949 graduate of Ken Hi and worked for and retired as an executive secretary from HQ Defense Logistics Agency in Alexandria VA. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing bridge, and amassing collectibles and decorating and furnishing miniature doll houses. Her favorite charity was ASPCA supporting her lifetime passion for love of animals and against animal cruelty. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Bernice Drake. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Eugene S. "Gene" Courson, 2 daughters Cynthia Domday and her husband Anthony of Locust Valley and Martha Cutter of Annandale VA, a sister Patricia Shearer and her husband Hugh of Cabot, PA, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
