Richard J. Jakubac, age 60, of Mahanoy City died Wednesday afternoon at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Frackville.  Born in Danville he was the son of Mary
(Angelozzi) Jakubac Brazinsky of Mahanoy City and the late Michael F. Jakubac Sr.   He was a 1969 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and was a pole vaulter for the Mahanoy Area High School Track Team.  He was a graduate of Lincoln Technical School receiving training in electronics.  Surviving in addition to his mother are  one brother Michael F. Jakubac Jr. and his wife Patricia of Annapolis MD, 2 nephews Michael D. Jakubac and Gerald Reba, 2 nieces Jennifer Johnson and Linda McLoud and 6 great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Saturday morning at 11:30 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher at Noon in Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City.  Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 10:30 AM until time of service.  David D.
