Rita I. Kufrovich, age 91, of Barnesville, died Sunday at Shenandoah Senior Living.  Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Idason.  She was a 1943 graduate of Mahanoy City High School and was a member of St. Richard's Church in Barnesville.  She had been employed by Brockton Sportswear, Eagle Brothers and last worked for Morgan Knitting Mills.  She was preceded in death by her husband Cyril in 1973.  Survivors include a daughter Margaret Soult and her husband Gene, a son Gerald all of Barnesville. 2 sisters Regina Truex of Waymart and Margaret Gesiskie and her husband William also of Waymart, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by Rev. Joseph Whalen on Monday at 11 AM at St. Richards Church in Barnesville.  Friends may call and visit with the family at the church on Monday beginning at 10 AM.  Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.
