Mr. Robert J. Barowski, age 81, of Mahanoy City, died Saturday morning at Golden Living Center York Terrace in Pottsville.  Born in Shenandoah he was the son of the late Julius & Elsie (Dombrowski) Barowski.  He was a graduate of J.W. Cooper High School and was a U.S. Army veteran.  He worked as a pipefitter for the Pipefitters and Plumbers Local Union 524.  He was a member of the Good American Hose Company # 3 of Mahanoy City.  He was preceded in death by his wife Cecilia A. (Yates) Barowski in 2004 and a sister Joan Perrong.. Survivors include 2 sons Robert and his companion Kim Laird of Nesquehoning and Brian and his wife Valerie of Mahanoy City, a brother Edward of Shenandoah Heights and a sister Dorothy Mattes of Ringtown, a granddaughter Adrienne Barowski and nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Saturday at 12 Noon from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City. The Rev. Kevin P.
