Robert M. "Bob" Wargo, age 83, of Mahanoy City, died Thursday afternoon at Schuylkill Medical Center East in Pottsville.  Born in Mt. Carmel he was the son of the late Michael and Anna (Wyda) Wargo. He attended Mt. Carmel Schools.  Bob had been employed with General Cigar Factory and last worked for and retired from Morgan Knitting Mills in Hometown.  He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Mahanoy City.  Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were a brother Paul and a sister Edith Tucci. Survivors include his wife of 39 years the former Mary Makar, a sister Vera Klinger of Norristown and nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Monday morning at 11 AM from Christ Lutheran Church in Mahanoy City with the Rev. Fred T. Crawford officiating. Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park in Hometown.  Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10 AM until time of service. David D.
