Rose E. Jones Obituary
Rose E. Jones, age 72, of Mahanoy City, died Sunday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center East, Pottsville.
Born in Mahanoy City she was the daughter of the late Charles and Kate (Blackwell) Budwash. She was a 1957 graduate of Mahanoy City High School. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Mahanoy City and worked as a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Philip O. Jones in 2003. Survivors include 2 daughters Heather Zekkaria and her husband Abdelfatah of Allentown, Malissa Jones of Reading, a brother John "Jack" Budwash of Frackville, four grandchildren Nora and Yassine Zekkaria and Teralyn and Katelyn Jones, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a religious service on Tuesday November 8 at 11 AM from Christ Lutheran Church in Mahanoy City with the Rev. Fred T. Crawford officiating.
Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Ringtown. Friends may call and visit with the family at the church on Tuesday from 10:15 AM until time of services. David D.
