Mrs. Rose M. Milchick, age 89 of Locust Valley, Barnesville, died April 2, 2025 surrounded by family, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Rose graduated from Mahanoy Township High School and was a homemaker most of her life, where she took great pride in taking care of her family. She was always prepared to offer anyone who stopped by a grilled cheese and a beer. Rose also loved taking care of animals, whether it be her pets, her children's pets or the wildlife around her home. She will be greatly missed by all who were close to her.
 Born October 23, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John and Veronica (Belovesick) Kachmar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Milchick, 3 brothers, Joseph Kachmar, John Kachmar and Steve Kachmar. Surviving are a son, George and his wife Edythe, a daughter Karen and her husband James Murtin, four grandchildren, Amanda, Madeline, Nicholas and Elizabeth, four great grandchildren, Delylah, Jackson, Scarlett and Lillian and two sisters, Mary Ann Chakan and Vernie Walters.
