Ruth F. Campbell, age 90, of Mahanoy City died Wednesday night at Schuylkill Medical Center East in Pottsville.  Born in and a life long resident of Mahanoy City she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Stocker) Eckroth.  She was a 1940 graduate of Mahanoy City High School and worked as a homemaker.  She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Mahanoy City.  Preceding her in death were her husband George Campbell and a sister Betty Jane Eckroth.  Survivors include one daughter Cheryl Walawender and her husband Joseph of Mahanoy City with whom she resided, 2 sisters Lois Kline and Charlotte Eckroth both of Mahanoy City, a granddaughter Melissa Walawender of Pittsburgh and a grandson Michael
Walawender at home and nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Monday morning at 10:30 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City.  Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fred T.
