Sharon R. Longenberger

Sharon R. Longenberger, age 70, of Shenandoah Heights, passed away Tuesday afternoon in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital she was the daughter of the late George and Louise Price. She attended Mahanoy Area High School and was retired. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Frackville. Preceding her in death were a sister Jackie Seibert and a brother Richard Price. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Michael V. Longenberger, 3 sons Michael J. Longenberger and his wife Missy of Shenandoah Heights, Brian V. Longenberger and his girlfriend Amy Krieger of Shamokin and Jason E.Longenberger and his wife Cindi of Lehighton, 2 sisters Robin Jones and Denise Owen both of Tennessee, two grandchildren Heather A. Longenberger and Michael J. Longenberger Jr. and a great grandchild Cambria O'Connell and nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Monday morning at 11 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City. The Pastor Joshua Hughes will officiate. Interment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.
