Steve A. Ebersole Obituary
Steve A. Ebersole of Harrisburg, passed away while in hospice care. He was the son of the late Cloyd Huntsman Ebersole PhD professor at Lebanon Valley College and Hazel Frederick of Bedford County. Survived by his best friend and wife Tessa Gia, stepdaughter Vivian Bondura and husband Eric of Wilmington N.C.and stepson Frank Giacobbe of Allentown, Brothers Doug and wife Maureen of San Francisco, CA. and Tony and wife Pam of Vancouver, WA. ,several nieces and nephews. Steve was active in, Boy Scouts, music and art,graduated from Annville Cleona H.S. in 1969. He studied art at Academy of the Arts in York. Worked at Dentsply for 10 yrs.His last job,was head of art department at PA Department of Environmental Protection in the Rachael Carson building in Harrisburg. He excelled at displays for the farm show, and was awarded a medal of valor, for graphics, with the rescue at Que Creek , 9 for 9.He was active in Neographics and Earth Day, and went on to design the owl license plate and received the 4th plate, issued, from the Governor of Pennsylvania. He was an early supporter of the Doshi Gallery in Harrisburg, with Maya Schock, and had a cameo appearance in the movie, Lucky Numbers with John Travolta. Steve loved gourmet cooking, bonsai trees, animals, and computer art and graphics. His favorite artist was Vincent Van Gogh. He was confined to a wheelchair for almost 10 yrs ,after an accident. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held on Monday April 27, 2026 at 11 AM at Grandview Memorial Park, 500 North Weaber Street, Annville, PA. David D.
